Recording the impact of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Suffolk Libraries have developed The Feeling Well project (a year of sport and wellbeing promotion), working with a range of health, sport and cultural organisations to help people improve their health, fitness and wellbeing.

The Feeling Well year is culminating in an Olympic themed week (23rd - 30th January 2011), inspiring people to talk about their memories of past olympics or try something new.

Every library in Suffolk is hosting either a display, a demonstration or a taster session on an Olympic sport, or the chance to reminisce about past Olympics.

An archive is being created from the stories, photos and footage captured during the events of the week. This archive will then be available for people to use to inspire people in the future to take up a sport, improve their health and possibly become an olympic hopeful of the future.
